WebSubmissions We accept unsolicited submissions all months of the year except for June, July, and August. Please submit only one story or essay at a time (10,000 words or fewer), or up to six poems. Short reviews (1,500 words or fewer) are published exclusively on our website. Our average response time is ten weeks. WebSubmission Schedule We only review submissions sent through Submittable. Submissions are accepted on a rolling basis and published from September through May. Work submitted during the summer will not be read until the fall.
