I used the brush, exactly following the directions - dust all gone. More recently I got a single spot that the brush wouldn't take off. I got the sensor clean kit (liquid and special swabs). Worked like a charm - compeletly clean.

One telling note for me is Tom Hogan's D850 eBook, he has instructions on wet cleaning the sensor yourself. In the Z7 eBook, he says to send the camera to Nikon for their cleaning service.
