Step 3: Start Sql Server Services again. Step 4: In SQL Studio Management -> Delete error database. Step 5: Stop Sql Server Services and Copy Data to old folder. A common cause of that is that Object Explorer in SSMS is connected to the DB. Close everything that's connected to the server (even restart the SQL Server service if you need to), and try again.
